Overview

Bear Form is a Shapeshifting Power that replaces your weapon skills with 2 new abilities: Smash and Crush. The Bear form's melee attacks scale with gear level and with a high enough score can be used to break large ore deposits and other world objects that would otherwise require a Minor Explosive Box, this includes the barrier to Quincey the Bandit King's stronghold and the large stone deposit blocking the Iron Cave. Your Ultimate Spell is replaced by a Roar, with no combat usage.

Bear Form also grants resistance to sunlight, garlic, silver, fire and holy. It's especially useful for more quickly dissipating the garlic debuff stacks.

The Founder's Pack: Eldest Bloodline DLC adds a variant of this Ability called Stygian Bear Form. this variation being purely cosmetic.

Notes

• You can still build and access buildings/storage, though. This does not apply to chests in the world outside your castle, which will cause you to cancel the transformation as soon as you access them.
