Passive abilities can be unlocked at the 
Altar of Stygian Awakening in exchange for 
Stygian Shards and 
Greater Stygian Shards.
Players may unlock all passives, but only have up to 5 
Passive Slots available. Similar to the 
Research Desk, players may collectively unlock and share passives within their clan.
Was reworked in the 1.1 October patch, previously used to read: "Increases Feed Cooldown Rate by 24% and using 
Bite summons a Skeleton Warrior."
